If you have an XP machine and you wish to allow RHS into your computer:


Step 1. Do this only once to enable remote assistance.

Right click on My Computer and select Properties.

Click on the Remote tab and make sure that Allow remote assistance invitation to be sent from this computer is checked.


Step 2. Do this each time you want to invite RHS to help you.

Click on:

and select .

Click on: .

Click on the following two items:

Click on Save invitation as a file (Advanced)


Click on Continue

Make sure there is no check mark by Require the recipient to use a password and click on Save Invitation:



Click on Desktop and then click on Save:

 

Go to your email and create an email message addressed to your RHS client service representative.

Attach file RAInvitation.msrcincident from your Desktop.

In the body of your message state the nature of your problem.

Send the message.
