SYMPTOM:

     How do I add a new user on a RS6000?

ISSUE/PROBLEM:

     A new user must be added into the UNIX operating system and
     also into the CHARTS software.

SOLUTION:

I.   Adding a user into the UNIX operating system:

     1.   Log on as ROOT
     2.   Type rhsmuser user-id and press ENTER
          (where user-id is the id of the new user to add).
     3.   Type the password and press ENTER.
     4.   Retype the password and press ENTER.
     5.   Type exit.

II.  Adding the user into CHARTS:

     1.   Log on as a CHARTS Supervisor.
     2.   Type ATF and press ENTER.
     3.   Type 18 and press ENTER.
     4.   Type 4 and press ENTER.
     5.   Type the same user-id as entered in I.2 above and press
          ENTER.
     6.   For each module set:
               U for update access
               X to deny access
               I for Inquiry access only
     7.   For Table Files type M
     8.   Press ENTER.
     9.   Press PF12 to exit.
