V003: Set-up for a new XP PC to use Visual

1. Set Internet Options for Security:

Click on Start, Control Panel, Internet Options

Click on Security tab:

Under ActiveXControl and Plug-ins Enable all options.

Click on General tab:

Under Temporary Internet Setting click on Setting

Click on Every Visit to this Page.

2. Load Adobe 5.0:

At RHS it may be necessary to load Adobe 4.0 and then the Adobe 5.0 upgrade.

3. Install CIA Fonts.

At RHS do the following:

Click on Start, Control Panel, Fonts

Click on File and select Install New Fonts

Select drive NTServer 4 and files public/Production Tools/CIA

Click on Select All and then click OK.

4. Hide the Adobe Splash Screen:

Run Adobe and click on Edit, Preferences, General Options.

Under Startup unclick Display Splash Screen.

5. Install Microsoft Office
