Patch028 – May 2007 Update

This patch contains the latest updates for: 1) UB04 - Required to be used after May 22, 2007, and 2) Revisions to the electronic billing of HMO claims to make use of the facility NPI and physician NPI.

UB04 Billing Program [GM, 8, 3, 3, 10]

This UB04 program is designed to replace the existing UB92 billing program.

The UB04 is available for use immediately and is required after May 22nd.

Please note that the UB04 requires the facility and the physician of record on the bill to have valid NPI numbers.
